Original copy of typewritten report, disbound. 596 pages plus about 50 pages of photos of sites and artifacts. The report was provided to a former resident of Percy who was interviewed for the study and who's family had operated a general store in the town, according to letter to her included with the report. Also included are transmittal letters from Corps From the Abstract: "In the summer of 198, a phase III data recovery investigation was conducted at there historic sites in Lake Red Rock Iowa.All 3 sites havd been previously evaluated and found to be eligible for nomination to the National Register of Historic Placess. Data recovery was necessitated by the anticipated impacts from the proposed pool raise at Lake Red Rock. Data recovery was designed to recover the greatest amount of archaeological and documentary data possible.Research and analysis focused on the development of farmsteads and towns.
