Madison, Minnesota: Sixties Press, 1964. Wrappers. very good. 1st Edition. 120pp. Octavo. Beige card wrappers with some light bumping to ends of spine and bends to outer edges. Clean tight text block. With grey dust wrapper with some light bending to edges and bumping to corners. The wrapper is somewhat discoloured and has a small amount of blue rubbed on the front cover. There is also a small chip to the top front of the dust wrapper. A lovely copy in very good condition. James Lafayette Dickey (February 2, 1923 Ñ January 19, 1997) was an American poet and novelist. He was appointed the eighteenth Poet Laureate Consultant in Poetry to the Library of Congress in 1966. This is an important collection of criticism on contemporary poetry. 1964
