Call softcover, exterior covers show bumps and wear to the edges and corners along with scuffling and soiling, particularly on the rear wrap. The internal binding is good and text pages are tight. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings, no handwriting, no underlining, no remainder marks etc. The pages do show some usage along with a soft crease through most of the book, which can be seen near the upper outside corner angling inward. This may be from the original binding process. The first page states "This publication supersedes FM 21-76, 14 March 1969". Each chapter is numbered individually.
