Very Good / Very Good (Book - mild general shelf wear and soiling to boards, a few dust spots to top edge and light foxing spots to end papers and fore edge of book block, previous owner name in ink to front free end paper,. Dust Jacket- moderate general shelf rubbing and soiling with small chips and tears. Max chip 5 x 3 mm approx, max tear 15mm approx. Soiling /tanning to exposed edges of flap folds, non price clipped - cover 16s. Now in a removable proprietary protective sleeve). Probably best known for his acting - Jaws , Dan Tempest in the Buccaneers etc. Shaw was also an accomplished novelist. This his scarce 2nd book won the Hawthornden Prize for 1962.
