She has published widely on 20th-century avant-gardes, Surrealism and modern art, including Joseph Cornell's Theatre of the Mind, The Surrealist Look: An Erotics of Encounter, and, most recently, Glorious Eccentrics. Colker, painter and graphic artist, founded the not-for-profit Haybarn Press for development of fine art editions in response to poetic texts.
