In the summer of 1879 a nine-year-old girl and her family travel from their Kansas homestead to the Indian Territory (OK) to graze their cattle on the prairie.The author describes in detail the covered wagon trip and the summer they spent in the cabins near the Salt Fork River. The author speaks from the experience of her youth on the LX ranch near Caldwell Kansas. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
