The first focuses on a small-scale Jewish parachute mission, emanating out of Palestine. Only one in the group was a woman, 24-year-old Hannah Senesh. She was caught and executed by the Germans. The second attempt was by the Hungarian Rescue Committee, headed by Joel Brand and Rezso Kastner. They attempted to negotiate with Adolf Eichmann, who had indicated a willingness to spare the lives of a million Jews in exchange for 10,000 trucks. Bound in the original brown printed wraps..
