About This Item
Parisiis [Paris]: Apud Mequignon Juniorem, 1828. Hardcover. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Octavo. 449 pages, indexed. Hardcover bound in black quarter leather with green and black marbled paper-covered boards. Spine tooled in gilt. Moderate rubbing and wear to the binding. The hinges are a little rubbed but are certainly holding well. Text block is sound and solid. Secure inner hinges. Text has a little sporadic foxing but is generally clean. A rough translation of the title reads, "The Summa of St. Thomas, Adapted to the Manners of the Modern Academies, or a Course of Theology of the Mind of the Divine Thomas... with Digressions into Ecclesiastical History.

Pages Past is a small used & rare bookshop located a few blocks from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. We specialize in North Carolina, Virginia, Civil War, Old Leather, Christianity, Eastern and Western Philosophies, and the simply unusual. We very likely have the oldest books in Greensboro; we keep a nice selection of antiquarian volumes and scholarly books.
