About This Item

Heinemann, 1966. 1st Edition. Hardcover. VG++/VG++. 1st Edition. 12.5 x 19 cm grey boards with gilt stamped titles to the spine, [viii]183[1]pp with original unclipped dust jacket priced at 35s. Signed and inscribed, "For David/ from /Noel" on the front free endpaper. There is a little pushing and creasing at the top of the spine and slight toning to the very tips of the spine together with a small bruise on the top front corner. There is a slight manufacturing imperfection that runs across the front panel. Internally clean with just a small handling mark on the margin of p138-139 and an even smaller ink dot on the fore edge of the text block. The signature on the front free endpaper is clean and bright. The dust jacket has a hint of rubbing to the spine tips and corners, a touch of sunning to the spine, a little dust marking to the rear panel and a 0.5 cm closed tear on the top joint of the front panel. It is now protected in a removable, clear cover (not shown) and presents very well. All in all an excellent signed 1st Edition copy. Rainford & Parris Books welcomes enquiries, so please do not hesitate to ask if you require further images or have any questions. All books are packaged with great care.
