First Edition. 9 7/8" x 7 3/8". xii, 169 pages, frontispiece and 85 black and white illustrations of clocks, watches and portraits, illustration of a document to supply and install a new clock for the old "Barr-Gate" Ipswich in 1684, folded map of Suffolk. Very detailed list of some 600 persons engaged in the craft or trade from the sixteenth century until about 1870. Hb in dw, no marks of ownership, unclipped dw, slight rubbing to dw at top of spine, and at corners, otherwise a very nice copy..
