Spine title is "British North America." Title page has chipped bottom corner with unprofessional repair. Foxing or soiling.

West was chaplain to the Hudson's Bay Company. His topics include "Esquimaux," indigenous peoples, Hudson's Bay Company's posts, missionary work, meeting with Captain Franklin at York Factory, attempts at education for indigenous children, etc.
