A special, thin but engaging, photo-shoot of...summer girls, 'Stuff - Hottest Girls of Summer', for Summer, 2001, with laid-in 8 1/2" x 11" stiff paper offer for the (at that time) just-published book, 'Maximum Sex!'. The magazine itself is undated, but this 2001 estimate is based on that (book) publication date. The (magazine) editor is also uncredited here, but the Stuff series of...stuff is issued by an arm of Felix Dennis' mainly Brit publishing empire; the Stuff series (of which this outlier special is a very scarce example) is, however, in general out of New York, under Andy Clerkson's editorship. There will be a quiz. Quarto, illustrated staple bound wraps, 16 pp. including covers (for the slender mag), 2 pp. (two sides of one sheet) for the book promo.Very Near Fine; very small indications of use at covers, contents quite flawless. No labels or other besmirchments, of course. See scans. Promo ephemera piece is Fine. Extraordinarily fetching ladies (it is, after all, 'stuff for men') and...that's about it, here. There doesn't seem to have been much change in what 'Hottest' means, since 2001. Cover model is unnamed, but inside are: Shannon Elizabeth, Gena Lee Nolin, Sofia Vergara (looking very callow at age 29), Kim Smith, James King (yes, that's a girl, and a rather scrumptious little wraith at that), Estella Warren, Brea De Matteo, Denise Richards, Heidi Klum, Lauren Bush, Rachael Leigh Cook, and Jaime Pressley. Jeeze. An engaging and very scarce genre collectible from the Dennis group. Ships in a sturdy, new, protective box - not a bag. LPR20
