Good+/No Jacket. 13 Cm X 19.5 Cm. vii+370; Christmas 1896 gift inscription to front endpaper, plus scattered brown flecking, also on rear endpaper, recto half-title and verso end blank extensively tanned, traces of ingrained dust to top edge, otherwise internally clean, tight and unmarked; covers clean, slight rubbing to extremeties, spine slightly faded with slight rubbing to both ends. Includes short chapters on Butler's views of 'Mental Qualities', 'Human Nature' and 'The Doctrine if Habits' besides those on his philosophical, ethical and theological doctrines. A quite acceptable copy. Note: quoted shipping rates are calculated for 500-700 gram net weight, cost will be modified up or down as appropriate outside this range.
