Nashville, TN: Southern Methodist Publishing House, 1884. First Edition, First Printing. Hardcover. Very Good. 5 1/4 X 7 1/2 Inches. 362 PP. Original first issue 1884 edition with matching dates on title and copyright page. Brown cloth with title-stamping to spine. PO pencil notation on the FFEP. Lipscomb was a noted Southern Minister and educator. He served as Chancellor of the University of Georgia in Athens from 1860 to 1874. Light wear to covers, but a solid copy of this extremely scarce book. OCLC locates "zero" copies. We have yet to find an auction record either.
