Chicago: The Goldsmith Publishing Co., 1931. Published 1931. High school baseball adventures of Bob "Speed" Durgan and his rival Carl "Bimbo" Bailey. Orange boards, 240 pages, illustrated dustjacket. Some shelfwear to the covers, good hinges, sound text block, very minor dampstain to far outer margins of the first few pages, age-toned but clean pages free from names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket has some fading and numerous chips, about ten to fifteen percent paper loss, faded spine.. Hard Cover. Fair/Fair. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
