Three-quarter calf over cloth, gilt lettrng, t.e.g. (vry mnr chppng hd & ft of spine, scuffng), still G copy from the library of David Belasco, w/ bkplate on frnt pstdn. Revised edition, 1st printing of this excellent history of the famed newspaper. This copy was presented to David Belasco (1853-1931), famed sephardic playwright, director, and theatrical producer who owned and built the famed Stuyvesant Theatre.
