John Murray. Hardback. Half leather binding. Axel Munthe's memoirs. 383pp. Bound in half calf green morocco leather and marbled boards, with raised bands to spine and gilt titles and gilt decoration to spine. Gilt to top edges. Marbled endpapers. 250 by 145mm (9¾ by 5¾ inches). Leather is faded to a brown on the spine and unevenly to edges. To the back the fading is very uneven. A clean, neat, tight, square copy. Good+, sound copy . Hardback. 1948.
