Black and white illustrated frontispiece and many other plates and maps throughout. End papers formed of a colour map. Pages are mildly tanned and foxed, but text and plates remain bright and clear. Binding is firm. Label to front free end paper. Boards have light moderate, with noticeable corner bumping and minimal scuffing to edges. Spine and edges are moderately sunned, with noticeable crushing to ends. Small faint white marks and bleach spotting overall. Gilt remains bright.
