The Story of the Present: Â The story of the present is by Stephanie Stafford, and the illustrations and poems are written by her sister Amanda. The story was written when the author was 14 years old and her sister three years younger. The text is illustrated with colour photographs of the internals of the doll's house. Colour photographic paperback binding with pale yellow and white coloured titles. Paperback slipcase, which has a photograph of the front panel of Tara's Palace on one panel and the front cover of The Story of the Present on the other panel. A two-volume set presented in a slipcase, one book dealing with a present of a dollhouse given, and the other a photographic essay on the fabulous dolls house known as Tara's Palace in Dublin. The books show no damage apart from some chipping to the top backstrip edge. The slipcase is showing age and wear. Chipping to the top slipcase edge with rubbing of the panels and of the other slipcase edges.
