About This Item

Hartford, Conn: A. D. Worthington & Co., 1898. Hardcover. Very Good. 22.5 x 15 cm. Octavo. xviii 730pp [4] ads. 122 illustrations including some full page plates. Bound into 1/2 black leather, gilt spine labels and decorations. Early printing with 1897 on copyright page and 1898 on title page. There is a damp stain to the bottom of both of the frontispieces, not quite reaching the illustrations themselves. The stain is also present on the foredge but besides the frontispieces does not effect the interior. Some scuffing to edges.
