About This Item

New York: Random House, 1961. First Edition. Hardcover. Poor/Poor. 8.50 x 5.75 x 1.00 inches. Hardcover First Edition / 1st printing in Poor condition with a poor jacket only included for completeness. Musty odor to the book. The covers show water staining and heavy wear to the corners and head of spine. The binding is square and tight. Abrasion to the illustrated front flyleaf only partially obscuring a small portion of the illustration. Inscription from a previous owner on the half-title page. The interior pages are unmarked, but as noted as noted earlier have a slight mustiness. The book will be carefully packaged for shipment for protection from the elements. Jacket has very large chips, tears, creases and missing sections (truly only included for completeness). There is a cool note included on stationary from the author (most likely included as promotional material; however, I have never seen this included with other Landmark Books and I've seen a lot from this series). USPS electronic tracking number issued free of charge. World Landmark Books 48
