San Francisco: National Socialist White Worker's Party, 1977. A scarce, broken, run of Stormer, the magazine of Allen Vincent's National Socialist White Workers Party (NSWWP), which he established in San Francisco following a schism in the American Nazi Party in the 1970s. The inaugural issue was edited by long-time National Socialist and Charles Manson acolyte, James Mason, although he doesn't appear in subsequent issues. Content is a mixture of crude racist, anti-Semitic and National Socialist articles from Vincent and fellow travelers and mainstream newspaper clippings covering NSWWP interviews, demonstrations and street battles. Vincent appears to have relished media attention, which was certainly disproportional to the group's influence.

Issues were published sporadically, sometimes monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly. Included in this run are: Vol. 1, No. 1, Sept. 1977; Vol. X, No. 7, July-August, 1981; Vol. X, No. 9, Nov.-Dec., 1981; and Vol. X, No. 12, Summer, 1982.

Stapled, glossy wrappers (8 ½" x 11"), issues run 8-32 p. with most issues 16 p., illus. Some moisture spotting to the rear cover of the Streicher issue, else a near fine grouping. A scarce run. Only four institutions show scattered issues in OCLC (Jewish Theological Seminary, Michigan State, Notre Dame and Kansas).
