Original cover, half title, title, xix, 265pp. Coloured frontispiece and six further coloured plates by J. Wely. Further monochrome illustrations throughout. Red half morocco, marbled boards. Spine in six compartments with gilt floral motifs and lettering. Marbled endpapers. Top edge gilt, other edges untrimmed. Shelf wear and rubbing. Front hinge cracked at base. Stitching strained at original cover, 64/5 and at 81. One plate loose. Some toning, spotting and marks throughout. Historic yellowed sellotape repair to tear at p17/18 - text still readable though. Original cover darkened. A scarce volume of bawdy erotica.
