First edition, fourth printing with the year 1934 in roman numerals on the title page. Published by Doubleday, Doran & Company, New York, 1934. Measures 5.5" x 8", 571 pages. A brand new facsimile (reproduction) dust jacket is included for protection and display. The book is in very good minus condition. The boards are well preserved with gently bumped corners and small ding to top of rear board. The spine and label are heavily sunned extending onto the front board. The endsheets are toned with scattered foxing. Red stamp on front endpaper by the author's signature. Small stain to fore-edge of the textblock which does not seep into the margins. The textblock is lightly toned but clean with tight binding. A very collectible copy of T. S. Stribling's 1933 Pulitzer Prize winning novel "The Store".
