About This Item
U.S.A.: Viking , 1967. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Fine/Very Good. A rare signed first print copy of Frank Conroy's memoir of his boyhood and adolescence. A tight and clean unmarked copy signed by Conroy directly on the title page--signature only. The dustjacket is complete and unclipped with the usual edgewear to the head and heel of the spine to the notoriously fragile paper used. In addition there are a couple of professionally repaired closed end tears. Back panel blurbs by William Styron and Norman Mailer--very scarce signed. Dustjacket is protected in new acrylic covering and will be well packed and shipped in a box.
