Rich & Cowan , 1936. Hardback. A first edition, first printing, 1936. Published: Rich and Cowan, 1936. Condition: Very good in good dustwrapper. Sepia-toned frontispiece and 23 sepia-toned plates (including 8 double-page panoramas) and endpaper maps, fore-edges lightly spotted; black cloth, gilt back, a very good, bright, clean copy in dustwrapper, the latter chipped at head and tail of backstrip. A paperclip mark is present on first few pages. This early work is remarkably hard to find in the dustwrapper, designed by E.A. Cox.
