About This Item
This story starts: "January 15, 1831. How dreadfully old I am getting! Sixteen! Well, I don't see as I can help it. There it is in the big Bible in father's own hand, 'Katherine, forn Jan. 15, 1815.' I meant to get up early this morning, but it looked dismally cold out of doors, and felt delightfully warm in bed."
The book appears to be written in a diary-type format.
Good condition. Blue cloth covers with white text and a paper image of a woman pasted onto the front. Light wear to edges, spine, and corners; however, the cloth has a small rubbed area on the front, the lady image has some chipping and a stain at the bottom, and the white letters and lines are worn. The name, Olive J. Rice, is written in ink inside the front cover. There is some page tanning. Text is clean. Binding is tight. There is one seriously torn blank page near the back. Please use photos as part of the description.
359 pages.
