New York: Liveright [1973], 1973. First printing. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good+. 8vo. (4), v-xxii, [2], 3-426 pp. Purple cloth with silver lettering on the spine. Price of $11.95 on the front flap of the dust jacket. Illustrated with several black and white photographs with some facsimiles of the letters of Toklas. Edited by Edward Burns. With an introduction by Gilbert A. Harrison. A collection of letters written by Toklas during the twenty years after Gertrude Stein's death. Toklas writes in detail on her gardening, her experiences with Picasso, Van Doren, and other famous artists, and her day-to-day life living in Paris. A Near Fine book with a slight push to the top of the spine in a Very Good+ dust jacket with a few hints of edge wear and two tiny abrasions to the reverse of the jacket.
