About This Item
Black Sparrow Press, 1968. First Edition. Trade Paperback. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. [8] pages (not including wrappers). Upper wrapper title: Statement / antin / economou / eshleman / mac low / owens / rothenberg / schwerner / wakoski. Morrow & Cooney #23a; the 'unpublished edition', scheduled to be distributed free of charge with 4 upcoming books of the press (by Economou, Schwerner, Rothenberg and Wakoski), but dropped after some poets objected to the implications of the upper wrapper (after which the pamphlet was redesigned and the bulk of this issue was destroyed). Signed by Kelly in black ink on upper wrapper. Slight rubbing to wrappers; else a near fine copy of a very scarce ephemeral imprint.
