Cover corners are bumped and rubbed to boards, edges rubbed, scuffing and wear to cover faces, spine is discolored, spine ends are torn and chipped. Spine slightly cocked. Uncut page edges. Loose hinges and spine. Text is crisp and easily legible, interior pages are slightly browning along edges. Book in Good+ to VG- condition.. Hard Cover. Good+. Illus. by A. Weston. Pen inscription to half title page. Small sticker to front pastedown. Black and white frontispiece. Pages remain bright with minimal tanning. Heavier to endpapers & paste downs. Text is clear. Binding remains firm. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing & peeling to spine ends and rub wear all over. Gilt lettering is bright and clear to spine.

Heavy foxing throughout. Hinges and guttering are cracked. Binding is loose. Boards have been heavily rub worn with heavy shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are bumped and a heavily frayed and spine ends are crushed, with some small splits and chips. Moderate tanning to spine and edges. Splitting to spine joints and ends.
