London: Chatto & Windus, 1937. Undetermined. near fine. 1st edition. viii, 200pp. Octavo. Black cloth covered boards with gilt lettering on spine. Tip of front board bows out very slightly. Text block is remarkably clean and tight save for the slightly hint of foxing to preliminaries. In boldly illustrated black, pink and white dust jacket, not price clipped. Jacket shows some soiling, with a slight darkening near edges and small chip and closed tear to the top of the front cover. A nice copy in great jacket. near fine Wells Society #127. "A story of the genetic effect produced by cosmic influences". 1937
