Joseph Turner was a romantic painter and water colourist, who lived in London with a strong Cockney accent his whole life. He mostly painted sea and landscapes, and achieved great fame and fortune during his life. In a cloth binding in original dustwrapper. Gilt lettering to the spine. Dustwrapper is excellent with some mild shelfwear and bumping to head and tail of spine. Externally, as new except for some mild shelfwear to the head and tail of spine. Internally, as new. As New

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
