London, Macdonald, 1969. The first British edition in very good condition in like dust jacket. Winner of the Hugio Award for Best Novel in 1969.
The book shows wear with light foxing on pages and text block edges, and it has been well thumbed. The dust ajcket intact, with an Australian proce sticker over the UK price, but it is worn, particularly at the edges and folds, and there is a 1cm tear at the top of the spine.
Synopsis
Stand on Zanzibar is a dystopic New Wave science fiction novel written by John Brunner and first published in 1968. The book won a Hugo Award for Best Novel at the 27th World Science Fiction Convention in 1969.
