Green cloth-covered boards, gilt design on front, gilt titles on front and spine; top text block edge sprayed black. Illustrated endpapers. 4to. Sun-faded spine, titles faded away, rubbed corners and spine ends, cloth worn through at spine ends. Top text block edge colour fading, remaining edges tanning. Rear endpapers starting to fox and tan. Gutters cracked and strained, volume quite loose. Lender's stamps and markings on front endpapers and copyright page.
