Synopsis

A Sport of Nature is a 1987 novel by 1991 Nobel laureate Nadine Gordimer. Abandoned by her South African family, Hillela drifts through jobs and lovers until tragic events suddenly catapult her into a heroic role in the struggle against apartheid.
