Geoffrey Bles: The Centenary Press, 1939. Hardcover. Good. 1939. First Edition. 204 pages. No dust jacket. Black cloth with gilt lettering. Pages are mildly tanned with notable foxing, heavy in places. Mild cracking to gutters, however binding remains firm. Pencil inscription to front endpaper and rear pastedown. Notable annotations and marginalia to pages throughout. Boards have light edgewear with corner crushing and notable marking and mottling to boards. Heavy tanning to board edges and spine, which has mild crushing to ends. Small hole to front joint. Book has forward lean.
