About This Item

New York: M. Evans and Company, Inc., 1997. Book. Fine. Soft cover. 1st Edition. 11h x 8 1/2w. A real nice 634 page first edition softcover with 1 low in number line. Has just a touch of wear and is very nice. Coverage ranges from biblical times (Caleb, Delilah, Joshua) to Benedict Arnold and Nathan Hale of the American Revolutionary era, from Lincoln's Allen Pinkerton to the Confederate agents Rose Greenhow and Belle Boyd, from World War II's Quisling and Richard Sorge to postwar spies Gary Powers and Aldridge Ames. In addition, attention is given to intelligence/espionage agencies around the world, such as the CIA, FBI, Gestapo, and KGB. There are also entries for officials of these agencies. The volume concludes with a glossary (including acronyms), a filmography, and a very extensive bibliography of books, periodical articles, government documents, and newspapers..

About Warren's Books

I have been selling books since 1976. I am not a mega-lister that just types in an ISBN and paste a message of how great I am or how many books we\I sell. I list each book carefully trying to tell the faults and positives of our book. Most of the time I will tell what the book is about and list if it a first edition, hardcover or has a dust jacket. Photos of books are usually my scan and not a stock photo. If you have any questions, please ask. If you decide to pay with check or money order, please make it out to Warren Hahn, That's me!! I have about 5,200 books online with another 200 to list.
