Dale (born Aldo Sigismundi, renamed after Robin Hood's merry minstrel) intended to become a journalist but found success as a pop singer, briefly with his own TV show; here, he discusses his problems with the music industry and the difficulties of fame. INSCRIBED by Dale on the free endsheet: "To Stu -- Best wishes Alan Dale". Hardcover in jacket, as pictured. Light wear to book, corners lightly bumped; jacket has a few short tears, small chips, creases, faded spine; a few leaves dog-eared, hint of cockling to some lower edges. Text clean, no names or marks apart from the author's inscription; 317 pages + colophon. . First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Good. Octavo.
