Hodder And Stoughton, 1957. Hardcover. Acceptable/Acceptable. 1957. First Edition. 192 pages. Illustrated jacket over green cloth with gilt titles to spine. Pages are rather marked with pronounced tanning and foxing, plus thumbing. Pencil inscriptions to front endpaper and pastedown. Extremely intense foxing to front endpaper and text block edges, the latter being dusty too. Boards have some moderate edge wear, with slight bumping to corners and minor bumping to spine ends. Gilt is bright. Unclipped jacket has light edgewear with small tears and creasing. Jacket is slightly rubbed and marked overall. Extreme foxing to flaps. Jacket is in a transparent sleeve.
