About This Item
Bloomington, Indiana: Indiana University, 1967. No Binding. Good. 11" x 15.5. Cnthia Beishline (photographs). NOTE: This is not an issue of the respected British magazine, but rather a provocative Indiana University weekly student newspaper - from the Viet Nam War era. CONTENTS: On Flagging the Course and Waving the Flag (challenging the University President's pro-war position); Some Reflections of Campus Controversy (Stahr); Politics of the University Budget; Agronsky on Viet Nam; Poets Who Cannot Spell (Inman); Avant-Garde Soviet Music (Brody). 20 pages. CONDITION: An age-tanned copy with moderate shelf-wear and a strong horizontal mid-page crease. A few pages are marked, but not obscuring any of the text material. This fascinating window on the Vietnam era (and on the 1960s arts avant-garde) is now in a clear, protective polypropylene bag with archival backing board.
