About This Item
London: Robert Hale, 1980. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. Signed by Author. First hardcover edition, first printing (published in the USA as a paperback original by Fawcett in 1969). SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR. Publishers original black cloth with silver titles to the spine. An excellent near fine copy, the binding square and tight with a little bumping to a couple of corners and light pushing at the head and tale of the spine. Light spotting to the top edge of the text block otherwise a lovely, clean and attractive copy. The NF D/W is lightly rubbed with some soiling to the back panel but with no chips or tears. Not price-clipped (£5.25 to the front flap). Inexplicably scarce in the UK edition. Signed by the author in blue ink on the title page. Provenance: From the authors own collection.
