1963 No 2 contains Alexander Solzhenitsyn's One Day as the lead story, as translated by Ralph Parker, the same translation as the first book appearance in English from Dutton. Also Includes an article by Andrei Sinyavsky on the Poetry of Boris Pasternak, just two years before the Sinyavsky and Daniel trial. Other authors include Gulnazarian, Tkachenko, Soloukhin, Auerbach and Vanshenkin. Loosely inserted is a 16 page speech by L.F. Ilyichov, secretary of the CPSU Central Commitee, from December of 1962, "Creative Work for the People, in the Name of Communism".
