Inscribed by Archibald Rutledge on the front flyleaf, with a period leaflet on the author's life and career laid in. Sixth collection of verse by the first poet laureate of South Carolina. Rutledge (1883-1973) wrote over 50 books, most concerning his hunting and life experiences in the Palmetto State. Octavo: 123 p. Original green cloth binding, with black titles. Tiny bit of rubbing to the corners and tips; else fine.
