New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1956. First American Edition. Near Fine/Good. Kinoshita, Yoshinori. First American edition. Signed by Yukio Mishima and inscribed to former owners on the front free endpaper, with Mishima's chop stamp as well. Original paper covered boards. Near fine with light toning and edge wear to covers, pages toned. In a Good unclipped dust jacket with fading heaviest at the spine, several edge-tears and an internal chip to the rear spine joint near the foot; foxing to the blindside. The first of Mishima's books to be translated in the US.
