Lovely edition of the famous love sonnets bound in soft green letter, tooled in gilt, with hand-colored woodcut illustrations throughout the text created especially for this edition by Mary Jane Gorton (famed for her androgynous woodcut illustrations for Shakespeare's sonnets, also for Peter Pauper Press). 16mo (4.25" x 7.25"), no date, unpaginated. Flaw causing downgrade: front board has come completely detached, & all extremities & entire spine are heavily rubbed.
