Waller. A poetry anthology by George Whyte-Melville, the popular Scottish novelist known for his sporting works.This anthology includes the poems "Hero and Leander", "Alice of Ormskik", "Lord of the Valley", and "The King of the Kennel", as well as 'The True Cross'.Illustrated with a frontispiece, and four plates.Illustrated by S. E. Waller.Undated, dated from Jisc from a copy held at the National Trust Libraries. In a half morocco binding with cloth to the boards. Externally, smart, with a few light marks to the boards. Spine is a little faded. Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto to the front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with some odd spots. Very Good Indeed
