About This Item
1908 hardcover as pictured. A handsome book that has seen some use but remains very readable. This is a collection of poetry centered on the men of the Yukon goldrush by Robert Service, a British-Canadian poet and writer, often called "the Bard of the Yukon". Binding is firm. Brown cloth boards with gold stamping and paste on illustration are lightly soiled with slight fraying at edges and bumped corners. Rear endpapers with pencil notations and Vancouver booksellers sticker. Rough cut text block with gilt top edge. Tissue guarded frontispiece photo of author is partially detached. Text is mottled in places but appears otherwise clean and unmarked. No dust jacket. Your purchase helps support our small village library. s OF2
