New York: Farrar & Rinehart, 1942. Cloth. Near Fine/Very Good +. A very sharp copy of the 1942 1st edition (with the "Farrar Rinehart" logo at the copyright page). Tight and easily Near Fine in a crisp, price-intact ("$3.50"), VG+ to Near Fine dustjacket, with none of the fading along the spine often associated with ths title. Several tiny closed tears along the panel edges and just a touch of wear at the spine crown. Tall quarto, 196 pgs., nicely illustrated thruout. Edited by Carl Carmer, music arranged by Dr. Albert Sirmay. Truly a collector's copy.
