FIRST EDITION (1915), (Jack was a limited company by 1916), small 4to, 265 x 195 mm, 10½ x 7½ inches, cloth backed cream boards with large colour illustrated mounted plate, 55 pages. Coloured frontispiece, coloured title illustration and a charming 1/3 page coloured illustration to each of 12 songs, other black and white head- and tailpieces, all printed on coated paper. No inscriptions, 2 tiny dents to top edge of upper cover. Near Fine in very good DUSTWRAPPER (dw: price 2/6 net on upper panel (later editions 5/-), slightly dusty and lightly soiled, 15 mm (¾") missing at head of spine, 5 mm (¼") at tail, corners slightly worn).
