About This Item

This is a near fine (almost like new) hardcover with dust jacket. First Edition 1991 TOR Books. This copy is crisp and clean inside and out. The pages are still crisp and clean with no markings seen. Black hardcover boards under jacket are also near fine with barely a hint of shelf wear. The dust jacket is remarkably clean and still shiny with only very light shelf wear. Medium octavo book size or 6.5" x 9.5" with 275 pages.

Something Stirs a Novel by Charles L. Grant is a classic horror novel from one of the masters of the genre. From the dust jacket notes: "Charles L. Grant brings the practical and emotional problems of teenagers to vivid life for anyone who was ever a misunderstood teen." In this novel the author returns to teen angst that marked his acclaimed previous novel, The Pet.
One evening the Pack gathers at the diner. Their leader, Eddie, is dead. They huddle close, far from the prying eyes of parents and police. The group is one of misfits - outcasts. More will die. The pack must find a way to stop the killing, but it may come at a great price.
